Setting up your eSIM

Check your phone

Your device must support eSIM and not be carrier-locked. Check this under Settings › Mobile.

Choose a plan

Choose Saudi Arabia and a plan whose data volume and validity fit your trip length.

Install it at home

After purchase you receive a QR code with instructions. Install the eSIM before departure using Wi-Fi.

Activate after landing

Switch the eSIM on as your mobile data line and enable data roaming for this eSIM.

Choose the pickup point (e.g. Jeddah airport) and destination (hotel in Makkah or Madinah) and enter your flight number.

Frequently asked questions

Can I make calls with the eSIM?

Many travel eSIMs are data-only. Calls and messages then work through apps such as WhatsApp. The exact features are listed with the provider’s plan.

Will my German number keep working?

Yes. The eSIM is added alongside your regular SIM. Mind the roaming charges of your German carrier.

Are transfers included in your packages?

Yes. In our Umrah and Hajj packages the transfers between airport, hotels and holy sites are already included.
